Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about growing and receiving your sweet potato slips.

When will my sweet potato plants be shipped?

To ensure the highest survival rate, we ship sweet potato slips according to your local USDA hardiness zone and the safest planting dates for your region, typically starting in late spring.

In what condition will my plants arrive?

Our slips are shipped as bare-root cuttings. They may appear slightly wilted upon arrival, which is normal. Following our included hydration instructions will revive them within 24 hours.

What is your policy on damaged or dead plants?

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee. If your plants arrive dead or severely damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 48 hours of delivery for a free replacement or store credit.

Do you ship to all states in the US?

Due to agricultural regulations, we are unable to ship sweet potato plants to California, Louisiana, or Hawaii. Please check your local state regulations before ordering.

How should I care for my slips immediately after delivery?

Immediately remove them from the packaging and place the roots in a small container of water for 24-48 hours. Keep them in a bright area but out of direct sunlight before transplanting into soil.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as digital wallets like PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
